Okay for starters I am not engaged… the bf and I are ‘pre-engaged’ lol
And I’m just mentioning this out of curiousity but when I was a pre-teen (it had to be around 1997) I saw a Lazaro dress. It was like an antique-y gold color. It seemed spanish inspired. Had cap sleeves and a full skirt. I think the fabric had some sort of texture to it… I can still see the advertisment in my head 🙂
This is a long shot and I most likely will not still want that dress… but I have lusted after this dress for half my life so I would love to find picture of it.. and hey who knows maybe it’s the ONE… so if you’ve seen anything that sounds like that dress let me know! THANKS!!!

I was looking at dresses online well before I had a ring on my finger! Unfortunately I’m not sure which dress you are talking about but I’m sure you will love something from their new collection and Pronovias also had some great Spanish inspired gowns.

Have you looked through any recent pics to see if you can find a gown that resembles what you remember? The knot is really good for browsing through pics.
Have you thought about doing any research to find the original gown, like a pic of it? If you found a pic, maybe you could have it made for you. I would try contacting Lazaro (the company, not the actual man lol) and maybe they can help or try researching online. Google can be a good tool. You could look through magazine archives online from 1997 and see if theres any ads of the dress. Just a thought!
O and I LOVE Lazaro, I’m a Lazaro bride 🙂

Brides.com has pretty decent archives of wedding gowns by designer. But 1997 was a long time ago 🙂 But I’d go through the Lazaro archives anyway, there may be similar things!
