This is interesting! Anyone have opinions on what they would do?

I can’t help the feeling that she kept the kids, not out of some moral obligation, but because they were worth more to her alive (financially) than aborted. I mean, she got her 22k in the end… maybe I’m a cynic!

I read about this story earlier this week – I’m just horrified that this situation even happened.  I can’t understand the bio-parents’ perspective.  Like, you wanted a baby enough a few months ago to get a surrogate, and now you not only are splitting up but you no longer want your kids?  I can’t say what I would do, honestly that’s a tough position (especially if you already have your own kids, as I think she does).  But how do you just walk away from your babies that you WANTED at 14 weeks and basically just say “Peace out, terminate them or keep them for yourselves, we don’t want them”?

I would keep them. They grew inside of her for 9 months. She would’ve surely already felt a bond with them. Props to her, shame on the irresponsible biological parents.
