Maybe everyone is busy seeing Paranormal Activity ;o)
I'm not actually interested in seeing the MJ movie, but I heard it was really good. I'm hanging onto my $13 (damn NYC prices!) to see Precious when it comes out next weekend.
I want to see it but don't really have the money right now! :-(

I went and saw it on Wed. night and gave my "mini-review" on the post-a-thon chat thread when I got home LOL. (which you should read for a good laugh - regarding MJ being my "invisible friend" when I was little.......)
I'm a diehard fan, and I really didn't think it was that great. I mean I can appreciate it for what it was, and it was great to see what the show would've been like (awesome!), and there were some really cool parts with the backup dancers and stuff. But just the fact that it lacked any kind of story to keep it moving, was what was missing. My poor FI barely made it through LOL - he was fidgeting like a 5 year old.
Was sad to see how "not sick" he was though, ya know? Sounded great, dancing all over the place. 
My FI is interested but I'm just not. I'm a little distressed with the idea of watching this so soon after things happened. I'll probably netflix it someday but I'm not ready yet.

Hi hive! I was just wondering if anyone else has seen the new Michael Jackson documentary, This Is It. I just got back from a showing and I thought it was incredible! The whole movie is footage from his concert preparations over the spring/summer. I was amazed by how great his voice still sounded! Anyway, I know there are lots of you who are huge MJ fans like me, so I just wanted to say in these recession times this movie is totally worth your $10.
