I am sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to both of their families. It is a completely tragic situation.
@MissTatas: just an odd thing. I notice where you were from.. minneapolis. you prob. saw it on your news tonight. sorry. i just noticed that. i'm still in shock
Wow. I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you and everyone who knew your friend. There is no way to digest something as sudden as this --- but time will make her memory glow and survive.
One of my bridesmaids (a childhood friend from sandbox years) had her best friend from college horrifically murdered by her boyfriend in NYC about 3 years ago. One of those awful NYC stories you hear about once a year. It's a helpless situation, where all you can do is be there for people that knew the victim well. As I said, over time, the nature of the victim will shine beyond and the crime will be fall to the wayside of her memory. My prayers go out to everyone at your colllege.
I'm so very sorry. In January, a friend from high school --same grade, same cheerleading squad, etc. father killed her mother,7 year old brother, and then himself. One of those things that just doesn't make sense at all.
Oh my god. I am so sorry. This is the sort of situation it's really hard to wrap your head around. How things could have possibly escalated to that...
I hope you're able to deal with this okay, my thoughts are with you.
No advice, just good thoughts and prayers to everyone who is touched by this horrific act.
yea it really is crazy. hard to wrap your head around it. what is going to be hard is seeing more of it on the news. my heart just goes out to their families. She was so nice and a wonderful mom.
i just wanted to say thanks for your nice words and thoughts. it has been hard for everyone who was blessed to know them.
:(
This situation REALLY hits home for me. My aunt was murdered by her husband almost 4 years ago. So when I hear of other stories my heart breaks for the families, it's such a TERRIBLE thing to go through.
I just read the whole story. How horrible. Makes me realize how great my life is and how truly blessed I am.

Today I found out that a girl I knew was murdered. She was killed by her husband, who is also dead, along with their 1 year old daughter and unborn baby. When I saw her photo on news today I almost threw up. the only thing I could say to my fi was, " I know her".
I didn't know her very well but i did know her. We went to the same college. Were on spirit squads, ( her -cheerleading, me- dance team) we were facebook friends. I am just shocked and sadden. She was going to go into the hospital TODAY to have her baby girl. I am just in shock.
I don't know what I am looking for by writing this post. I'm still in shock and don't know how to react. We went to a small college so everyone knew everyone. It is just so sad.
