Maybe you can find something similar at David’s Bridal, explain the situation and hope they will let you exchange???

I would post this in the Classifieds section, and also post a “Looking For” thread. You can also try RecycledBride.com, PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com … I think there are a few other sites out there, too.

Oh hon…I am definitely with you in this camp. I bought my dress because everyone else loved it. I loved it, too, but I loved so many other dresses and fell in love with a bunch of other dresses after I bought it. I’m a vintage/flowy bride, too (LOVE Enzoani Erin), but my dress isn’t vintage at all.

However, I just looked up your Galina dress and it is GORGEOUS. I love it.

Have you tried looking for sample sales within your area? Since dresses for the new season are coming in, most of the bridal boutiques are selling their samples at lower prices to free up space. I got two sample dresses, one at 30% off and the other at 85% πŸ˜‰

Good luck! I’m sure you’ll find your dress in time πŸ™‚

i used to work for DB.  do you have the dress in your posession or do they have it?

did you ask about exchanging it or did they just tell you it was final when you were in the store making the initial purchase?

if you do have it, how long has it been?

if you haven’t asked and it hasn’t been too long i would suggest going in and talking to the store manager.

the store i worked at would work with a bride if the circumstances were right.
