I have loved this veil since the first time I saw it. I don’t know how they got it to look like this. I love the look though. What do you think they did? I know it was over her face when she walked down … but somehow they did something to it to get it up like this …

Bubble veils have that sort of poofy look. There is a thread on here somewhere about bubble veils. It kind of looks to me like it was a stiffer tulle and they just bunched it up for the photo, but I could be wrong. Here is a pic of a bubble veil:

Why don’t you email the photo to occanseydesigns.com/ and see if she can make you one? Or try Etsy’s alchemy request?

Fountain and bubble veils. I wnated one–they had it at the Ultimate Bride in Brentwood, MO BUT it was $550. It was couture and all kinds of fancy with russian tulle in between. It was absolutely incredible. No pics, sorry. But i loved the variation in types of tulle it had. I think they’re very glam

http://www.sassychicbtq.com/78_veils.html These are some I found….i started thinking about that last one I got. It was definitely a Toni Federici veil and I *think* i tried on the Peacock without the chapel train (it’s detachable). Anyways, it looks amazing on. Couture veils are all the rage

Wow! Back to the 80’s and early 90’s with big poofs!
I had a bride way back then that wanted a 9″ poof, and wanted it to stay open like a cloud. That was a challenge to get it to stay that way with a lot of carefully placed stitches. Hmm, I’m going to have to go back through my old picture albums and see what I can download to the computer!
If you ever have a chance to see the wonderful movie “Funny Face” starring Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire; Audrey wears a hool like bubble chiffon veil that is so gorgeous. It frames her face so perfectly. The movie is a fashion must. Edith Head did the costumes.
I have attatched a picture of one of my beautiful classic brides of the early 90’s. I made her gown and veil. She wanted her sleeves to stand out so big that I had to stuff them. From 1991…

EJS – I *love* that Sara Gabriel poof veil. I was completely unable to talk my MOH and FI into letting me wear it though… sadness. I’m having a replica of the Sara Gabriel Madison made for me by Sarah of Goffcouture on etsy, just a bit shorter to better suit my dress.
