How exciting!!!!! I like exclamation points too :)
Regarding the "no" rsvps, we didnt get most of them until near the end of the deadline so I wouldnt worry. Otherwise thats great everyone you want to be there can make it!
Yayyyy! Exciting to hear they're all coming in! That was my favorite part... heading to the mailbox every day!
Just like naangel55, we didn't get many Nos until the absolute deadline for RSVPs. All of the ones that come quick are the people super excited to be there! It was for real FOR REAL when I sent my invitations out. Before that it could have been someone else's wedding that I was having so much fun planning!!!!
I just took mine to the post office this morning. I've still got a few left, but for the most part, they're out of here. With every booking or purchase i get that "this is really happening" feeling, but not like this morning, when i actually left the post office!! :D
That sounds like fun!! I like coming home to a box at the door!! It's like Christmas!!
So for the RSVPs, I think that if people know theyre already going they just send them in once they get the invite. Those that might be a NO send it in last minute because they're still unsure (b/c of work, babysitter, etc)...at least that's what I do!
YAY... how great is that! Everyone wants to be with you on your special day; congratulations.
Yaaaaaaay!!! Happy for you! I'm sending mine out next week (hopefully!). We're November 7th too!!
I'm happy for you! Wait until it's the week of the wedding and you'll get even more bouncy and excited!!!
How exciting for you!!! I ordered all the supplies/paper for my DIY invitations yesterday and just doing that sent a jolt of excitement through me. lol Good luck with everything! :)
Thanks you all! I'm so glad I found Weddingbee. You all are so helpful (sigh). I just wish I lived full-time where the invitations land in the mailbox (they go to his house so not to be confused with my roommate's mail). I won't be there again until Saturday. SO MUCH MAIL I WILL MISS!
Oh my goodness, I feel a little bit behind! My date is 10/24 and I'm dropping them in the mail today...
OOPS!!!
I'm glad that you're having fun with it, and I can't wait until I'm having fun with it too!
Congrats!!!!
Like a lot of others, we didn't get the "no's" until the end either (which may make things tricky since you have a B list).
We sent our invites early so we could have a b list if we were able to invite more. I've a very social person and I've been a bridesmaid 9 times so there are just a lot of people to invite. This part of the wedding kind of makes me want to elope. Oh well.
@completelyrandomsally - As much as I want to celebrate with our families, I can't thinking about how much easier it would be to elope as well. Especially with the (hopefully minor) family drama that we are anticipating with my mom and dad's families together (bitter divorce).
Our invites won't go out until the end of February, but I'm excited too!
oh, i just sent my Save the Dates yesterday and I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. I sent one to my roommate to see how they turned out (we made postcards and used vintage stamps, so they were "supposed" to get hand cancelled). I know it's going to be an even greater rush with the invites!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
We sent out our invitations last week and the rsvps are flying in for our November 7th wedding. It makes me nervous because we haven't gotten any no's yet (and we have the b list that we are hoping to send).
We also got our first wedding present today (ALREADY)!!!!!!!!! THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I like exclamation points. They make things extra sassy!!!!!!)
