Waiting sucks, but at least we know a ring is right around the corner. ;-)
My ring was ordered and who knows when it will come in (by Christmas, which is also my birthday - and I want it on my finger by then!). We stopped in at teh store last night to get my partner's wedding band and I had to go look at necklaces so I wouldn't find the engagement ring in teh case and want to try it on.

is a damned sexy ring. I love high settings and when you can see the bottom of the diamond! :D

It's so hard to wait for my ring! We picked it out a few weeks ago and it's on layaway. My SO is making regular payments, but even so it will be a couple months until he pays it off. I keep looking at the picture and getting all excited, but I can't help but feel frustrated at the same time. I was hoping to be engaged by/on Christmas. It would have been great to show off the ring when my family comes over for Christmas dinner but it looks like that won't be happening. We agree that we aren't officially engaged until he gets the ring and makes a "formal" proposal, so that adds to my anxiety. I'm trying to remain calm cause it's coming and he's doing his best...but I want it now!!!

It's a half carat D colour S12 clarity set in 14kt white gold. It's simply me :) I love it so much and can't wait to wear it every day!
