Agreed. I saw myself in a couple of my wedding photos slouching and it made my dress look too long in those ones. Boo :(. Good thing it wasn’t all of them.  Stand up straight, ladies!

Ughh, I have a terrible slouching problem. During our e-pics my photographer told me to sit up straight lol. Hopefully she or someone else will remind me on the wedding day!

My dress had so much boning that I literally couldn’t slouch/bend!

@MrsKnox:  I totally agree. It may not be comfortable to hold good posture through the day/night but you will be grateful when you see your photos. Same with smiling and being aware of your facial expressions. But then again, I’m a total ham when there’s a camera around lol

This is why I’m glad I took band in school. If you didn’t sit with proper posture while playing your instrument they made you balance a pencil between your back and the chair so you would sit up straight. I also took horseback riding lessons, where if you didn’t have good posture you fell off the horse. I almost always have good posture these days without even thinking about it.

I’ve ruled out keyhole backs because they make me look slouchy.  My posture is good but not great, and the last thing I wanted was a dress that would make it look worse!
