@MissHarleyBlue:  Are you eloping to the woods? Will there not be another female in sight? Any woman would help you if you were able to ask them. I’m not sure how much skill is involved though. Maybe at the last minute you could ask a friend to help if they promise to keep it a secret. Otherwise, anyone at the court house? Hotel? Etc?

Just scream the universal help call: “I need an opinion from a lady!” and they’ll stampede in.

If you’re staying in a nice hotel, they’ll probably bend over backwards for you.

Get someone at the front desk to help you

exactly the predicament i am in.  I can hire a “bridal attendant” – but i havent figured out exactly what they do (wedding coordinator hasnt gotten back to me…), plan B is have FF get me in it…which kinda ruins the surprise and stuff…Plan C is make buddies within the first few days in being at the resort and find a capable woman who is willing to help a complete stranger into her dress – Plan D is beg my butler to help me (we booked a butler class room) and leave a nice tip LOL.

I would hire a briadl attendant. Think of them as your mom the day of. Helping touch up make-up and put on your necklace, get you in your dress, help you get your shoes on (sometimes that is hard in big dresses!) and such.

And the front desk always has someone they can send up to help out.

@LilRhodyGem:  Haha I love this, it’s so true! Help me, I’m poor! Or in this case, help me, I need an extra hand! Most ladies are pretty helpful…especially when it comes to wedding stuff. I know if someone randomly asked me to help I would be thrilled! Best of luck to you OP!

@MissHarleyBlue:  My DH had to do mine. My mom helped me with the fitting, but she wasn’t there (just me and my DH) at the ceremony. There was no way I could’ve done it alone!
