Does David’s Bridal ever offer discounts for buying their dresses off-the-rack?
I got a call from DB yesterday saying that someone had accidently ordered the wrong size in the dress that I am in love with, and it just so happens to be in white (I’ve only seen it in ivory, but wanted white) and it’s in my size! I am so excited about it and I am going in this weekend to try it on, but I am just wondering if I should expect to get some sort of a discount if I try to buy it, or if I should expect to pay full price.
I know a lot of smaller bridal shops will offer discounts for buying off-the-rack, but I wasn’t sure about DB.
Any advice or experience y’all have with this would be great!

It was ordered in so they don’t need another one for the rack probably. Definatly try to get a deal! And they called you so they must be trying to get rid of it.

I bought my dress off the rack and they didn’t give me one but I didn’t push it. I bet if you push it they will give you one. I should have taken my strong friend with me and she would have made them give me something off.

I say that it doesn’t hurt to ask…I mean, they did call you about it…so they’re obviously trying to get rid of it. Take some moral support with you!

I think the dresses @ DB are meant to buy off the rack. My BFF bought her dress from there, tried it on, loved, it, and walked out with it, but she didn’t get a discount either. I think they give a discount if you buy your dress and BM dresses there though.

I don’t think that’s a dumb question but I don’t believe they give a discount. That’s why they have a HUGE amount of stock on the floor, they want you to buy it then and go home with it. Not to say you shouldn’t try!
I bought my dress from there too. Just a reminder as I’m sure you know, inspect EVERY piece of the dress before you leave the store with it :o)
