I think that in white or ivory it would look perfectly bridal, especially with a veil. It depend on what style wedding you want but I think a birdcage veil would look gorgeous with it. You could even add a blingy belt if you want to dress it up a little.

There red is no rule that says that you have to wear a dress that is specifically made as a “wedding dress” on your wedding day. If you love it then go for it!

LCross2B:  ooh I love it!! we had an outdoor wedding and my dress didn’t have a train, and I loved that – way less hassle.

Go for it if this is your style! Really it is lovely. WTOO also is one of my favorite lines, I think it is comparatively well priced and the designs are always gorgeous. The ONE thing that gives me pause is that this is your opportunity to really choose something “bridal” with a train and all the details – I think you should make sure there is no regret if you don’t go that route

Beautiful.

If your mother is concerned that it’s not quite bridal enough, this dress from BHLDN is similar? Plus convertible!

I think its beautiful. You could put a sash over the band on the waist to make it a bit more fancy looking.
