I was a swimmer in h.s. and just got used to shaving my arm hair from the wrist to the elbow. I shave it about every other day and will eventually have laser tx for it. Totally understand!

@mouse – do you continue to get it waxed now? I’ve thought about doing that before, but I’m not sure how I feel about the whole growing out/prickly arm thing!

Sometimes bleached hair is even more obvious than your natural hair.  I’ve seen girls bleach their upper lips with really bad obvious results.  Somehow the lighter hair glistens and reflects light more.   I would definitely try it out before your big day… but I agree with other posters that waxing is the way to go!  ๐Ÿ™‚

@amanda.lynn, mine doesn’t grow out prickly.  i have them waxed every 8 – 10 weeks.

@amanda lynn.  No, I just let it grow out, but I really liked it.  Maybe once it’s tank top season again I will have it done again.  It didn’t feel prickly when it grew back, but to me it looked kind of weird.

My mom shaves her. I should shave mine, since I could be considered a gorilla with lighters hair, but I’m so lazy!

Wow, that would take a lot of bleach! I’m waxing mine. I haven’t actually done that before, but it definitely shows in pics and I figure I should get it done for my henna anyway. But bleaching that much skin sounds tedious and possibly painful. Test a part of your arm first!

this post made me laugh!  I guess I’m fortunate to have light arm hair.. I would’ve never thought this was possible or that common..?  the things I learn from bees!

whatever makes you feel beautiful you should do ๐Ÿ™‚  it seems like it’s worth it from others’ posts!

I wax. It stops hurting after the third or fourth time…
