I’m planning to register for a very large multi-pot. Both of these pots received good reviews on the Williams Sonoma site. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with either?

We registered for (didn’t receive) the All-Clad over the Calphalon b/c we wanted the shallower steamer insert. I still wonder whether the mesh is hard to clean, though.

my fi is the chef in our relationship (he’s super foodie!), so he did the research on most our kitchen items and so i don’t know the reasons, but he’s pro-all clad, anti-caphalon. i just asked him, and apparently all-clad is higher quality materials and better made–apparently it heats more evenly and efficiently. we registered for all clad multipot too, i hope we get it 🙂
