i dont even watch SITC and even i know that chick (ie the character not the actress) shouldnt be wearing white! :)
She looks fabulous and it suits her character to say "sc**w you all I'm wearing white!"

well as we are talking about a created tv character here....... shes been around the block more times than ive had icecream so yeah, pretty dammed brave to have her in white,..... but i guess thats why i didnt score an invite to the filming, i would be sitting in the back with all the aunt bettys tsk tsk'ing
im not a real fan of the bust & straps (although i love dresses with straps) but i love the fabric and the design from the bust down

It could just be a fabulous dream sequence (or a nightmare for her). Who knows. I just know she is WEARING A WEDDING DRESS!
I love Samantha and have oftentimes been compared to her in my former M days and damn they were fun! Although she did have more fun than me! I never had any hot pizza delivery guys. She hasn't ever been married before has she?? and I definitely think she looks phenomenal and should wear white after all everyone deserves to be a princess... However if I ever get engaged I will be wearing champagne because I look fantastic in it :P

I heard Smith is coming back for this movie!! Cannot wait to see what happens!! I think she looks beautiful in this dress. Oooh what if, like, her cancer comes back and she's dying and Smith is like "I'll make an honest woman outta you before you die" or something?!?!
Oh no I don't want that. But smith? Maybe.
I think maybe the brush with ca (again me musing about a made up character on a made up tv show) might have made her change her mind.
Heck she DID commit to something! That cute little fuzzball puppy! What a sweetie! She may be turning over a new leaf..or just like I said earlier, having a helluva nightmare.
She lookds gorgeous. That dress is beautiful. WAY prettier than Carrie's over the top monstrocity from the first movie. I hope she does get married. I would love to see the characters push the limits of their "stereotype" and evolve as normal people do.
I'm wondering if Richard comes back.... but I've heard that Smith is back for sure!
I hope Smith comes back! All of humanity evolves and I hope that she does as well and becomes a mom!
Btw I know I have evolved because M says I remind him of Charlotte! Talk about a hell of an evolution!

And I was totally with Eloping on the white dress. THIS CHARACTER of all people, it CRACKS me up!!! She is totally the anti-white Bride, LOL.
Maybe they are just prancing her around in wedding dresses to throw us all off!
You know, realistically, I don't see Sam wearing a "traditional white wedding dress". I see her eloping or doing something TOTALLY nutso and wearing some craaaaazy gown. It's a gorgeous dress on her and she can totally pull off white....I think I just see her character in something far different! I bet this is a dream sequence...she's knwon for her off the wall stuff!
like i said earlier, i havent watched the TV show but i can picture her doing the tradtional wedding thing - because it is so unexpected of her. super tough & independant Sam doing the traditional thing is a surprised (different) for my non fan vote

Comes out the day before my wedding! Guess what me and my girls are doing that Friday!! I'm sure it will be a much needed break before the big day!
It will probably be my bachelorette party! I've already decided what I want us to do! Go for martinis first (dressed to the 9's) and then go see it and after out somewhere SITC "worthy"!

Sorry to say, Bellenga, that our wedding has been consuming my life for the past few months and I haven't had the time to work on this film as it's being shot! I'm hoping that when we're back from our honeymoon in a month, they'll still be shooting!!

I looooooooooove me some SATC!! I saw them shooting the other day at the base of Central Park and again a bit further up 5th (shopping sequence.) I CAN say that while they were at CP, samantha and Carrie were rockin out some 80s clothes and hairstlyes and had visibly younger makeup on...hmmmm.
I know a few extras in the movie. They DID film a wedding scene, but kepe in mid that they film scenes and release pics just to keep the public guessing. When they filmed the last one I saw SJP and Big getting photographed in Central Park wih her in a different dress. I also saw all 4 girls in Juicy on 5th ave filming (YES, I was stalking that day...no judgement). Neither was in the movie.
In either case, Im dying. I went to the premiere last year and Im still trying to use resources to get tickets to the new one when its released!
Sam rocks everything she wears - I can't wait for this movie!!!
I can't help but think of Miranda shopping for a wedding dress. Someone was trying to push a white dress on her and she said "we have a kid, the jig is up". It's one of my fav SATC quotes.
I have nothing against people wearing white if thats what they want, I just love that line.
hahaha @ DailyBride I LOVE that line! My sister and I always say that now..."the jig is up..." "Carrie, I gotta call ya back. there is a big pile of cupcakes coming towards me!" hahha
I can't wait!! I'm too excited! I'm kinda sad that I looked at this thread because I don;t want to know anything until the movie, but I guess thats my bad!!
I love the gown! Not that bothered about the show though. Would watch the tv show if if it was on, but wouldn't go to the cinema to see the film.

well lets put it this way i know of a girl who claims to have slept with 50 and I know of at least 12 of them and she whore white white lol.
I was confused at first cause it isn't SITC it's SATC (Sex AND the City) 
I was trying to figure out if there was some other movie she would be in that it would be shocking that she's wearing a wedding dress! haha! I blame it on Friday afternoon!
Ok, anyways, she looks HOT! I adore that dress but cannot believe that Samantha would be getting married! I think that would be a great plot twist though! I can't wait till next summer!
