@kayberry:  I don’t see why they would care if it’s a wedding reception. The only issue that might come up is that most public park buildings don’t allow alcohol. If that’s an issue for you, parks might be out completely. (I say this only because I was looking at parks in the area yesterday and every city had the same “no booze” policy.)

you would have to get a booze permit and a security gaurd… that is how the parks in oregon work i belive… and the person serving the booze needs to have a state issued  liqour liecense

Based on those chair covers, I’d say they DEFINITELY allow wedding receptions. 😛

How big is your wedding, though? It’s hard to tell from the photo/diagram, but it looks like their reception space might be on the smaller side.

The foyer is gorgeous – I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that they decide to rent it for a wedding!

@kayberry:  Wow, they need to put up more pictures of their space, then! It looks so tiny. In that case, fingers crossed for you! It looks beautiful.

@kayberry:  Around here it’s just a flat NO. There’s no way around it, even when it’s inside a building and even when you rent out the ENTIRE PARK. So annoying.
