Ughhhhh. I'm sorry. At the risk of sounding like an old lady, I just gotta say... When it rains, it pours.
Hope everything goes as well as it can for your friend's family - sounds like they have great friends like you to support them, at the very least. And as for fixing your bumper, you could always just let it hang off and tell people it's the new style.
Also, sending good thoughts to your grandmother - do they know what's wrong?
I'm sorry about your week. I hope your grandmother will be alright...take a deep breath, I'm sure all will work out fine. Prayer works....(but so does a stiff drink too)

Blah. Week from h*ll.
On Saturday evening, a friend of mine was in a serious car accident and passed away which has been really difficult for everyone. Her daughter turned two yesterday and it was the saddest birthday ever and of course she doesn't understand why her mother isn't there. On my way over there on Sunday to take some food and some spring clothes I picked up for the baby I was driving DH's car which is bigger than mine, misjudged the distance, and hit an SUV. The whole front bumper on our car needs to be replaced and it will be at least 3K.
On Monday DH lost his wallet at work and is in the process of running around to get all his stuff replaced.
This morning my grandmother collapased and has been rushed to the ER.
