Is anyone else having problems finding a cool gift for the groomsmen? I got my girls awesome pink Coach purses (the big ones!) and now I'm searching for guys gifts and...none of them are cuff links/cigar kind of guys. I think the flask/beer mug is kind of boring but my fiance thinks they'd be ok with it. I just don't want them to think it's lame! What is everyone else doing?!

I'm pretty sure my FI is just getting them a big bottle of their favorite liquor... FI and his groomsmen are all bar guys so it's fitting.

My DH did a track bag filled with nike running shorts, under armour long sleeved gear, athletic socks, etc - and they went nuts!!  Granted they're all athletes, but RIGHT after the rehearsal they all changed into it. lol - it was cute.

We gave our guys beer mugs with their monogram on it and they loved it! They also got a small bottle or 6 pack of their favorite alcohol to put in it. Apparently guys really are that simple!

@MsYellowJacket: lol I love the athelte idea! None of ours are, but that's really cool!

@Ms Hedgehog: it truly does amaze me that guys are that simple, but after reading a few different things on this I am starting to actually believe it! I honestly think our guys would love that idea....in Wisconsin you can't beat a beer glass and liquor!!!

We're going with monogrammed shot glasses as well as monogrammed key chains that are also mini digital photo frames. Things Remembered has been my go to spot for gifts lately.

What about luxury shaving kits? Like the kind with a real boars brush. I've read that they are amazing for a close shave, and almost all men shave :)

My brother gave all of his groomsmen machetes...every time I see one of them (we're all great friends) they still bring it up and how much they liked it...even years later

We got ours neat looking flasks, a bottle of their favorite alcohol and a tuxedo tshirt to wear for the reception and they were all happy. I don't think guys really think that much about this kind of stuff.

My husband gave Leathermens with their names on them. Everyone loved the Leatherman, but when they saw their names, they all flipped.

We got ours each a Gerber tool...which is kind of like a swiss army knife I suppose?  Or a Leatherman, but with rubber on the edges to make holding it more comfortable.  My late husband ordered them online, and then took them to a local trophy shop to have them engraved.  We gave them to our Dad's too.  7.5 years later, everyone still uses them ALL the time!  I actually carry my husband's around with me, and use it at least once a week for something!

I want to get my bridesmaids either a spa day certificate, or I might just raid Sephora and give them all a gift bag of that stuff, plus something personalized to keep.  When I tried to help my FI pick stuff out, I came up with the idea of him buying each of them something they would like, instead of getting them all the same thing, just roughly the same price.  He already got a Guess watch from a wedding he went to and a flask from another...so those ideas are both out.  I think it would be neat and personal to get each one something they enjoy.

We were the first ones to get married in our tight group that used all the guys as groomsmen, and they requested flasks with their names on it :). If that hadn't happened, I wanted to get them maybe a miniature bar set that had a martini shaker and some glasses or something. But no, haha, they wanted flasks :).

I had the hardest time coming up with gifts for the guys and DH was absolutely NO help. A week before our wedding when we still hadn’t gotten them anything we ended up just doing monogrammed glass beer mugs (with just their initials), a 40 oz. specialty beer to fit their individual tastes and a $50 gift card to Best Buy. They liked it, though I think they would have liked just about anything. My IL's also bought all of the guys ties so we gave them those as well.

@Miss.E: We were going to do the Nike ID sneaks for our guys but they ended up not having DH’s size in the ONLY pair that we actually liked. I even called the company and offered to pay extra to have it made but they wouldn’t budge. Every single other pair that they sold came in his size except for the one sneaker that we wanted. I’m still trying to figure out how that makes any sense. It's an awesome gift though. I'm sure your guys will LOVE 'em!

My DH got our groomsmen XBox gaming credits & ITunes cards!  A little different, but I think it was appreciated and definitely used (a bunch of gamers and music lovers, so...ok, we KNOW they were used!!).

Yeah I'm in this boat. They've already received beer related items from our first friends who got married in thier tight knit group. So flasks, and mugs are out. I thouhgt of shaving kits with the nice brush, but FI goes what do you think- we're like 40 or something. Well you are 25.... Still thinking still thinking. Like the idea of maybe sporting event tickets.

@mrs_pugetsound: @UpstateCait: Hehehe nice. We collect those little tins and containers. We have both mushrooms, the star, the Bob-Omb, the question block, the old school NES controller and the Wiimote. The candies themselves are hit and miss, but the star ones were really yummy!
