how do I have negative comments?! lol I'm waiting to see if the post shows up... If not I'll resubmit.
Awww...I love him. :)
And here's mine. Her name is Maggie and she's a 6 year old English Setter (Lewellin line). She's pretty much impossible to photograph because she never ever holds still. Ever.

@bree72: what a cute baby you have!!! I totally understand the not sitting still thing, and it's hard to get their attention waving your hands in the air while holding a camera. ;)
ohhh, I've seen your little guy in the pet pic threads and he is just precious. I had a husky with the same blue eyes and I think that it just adorable!! My dog can hear (for all I know...lol) but I definitely wouldn't shy away from a deaf/special needs animal. That warms my heart right up! :)
@MissTX: Blue is my first experience with owning a deaf dog, although I did work with his sister at the shelter I worked at before he came in too... I absolutely love my boy and after close to 3 years of having him I can't imagine having a hearing dog... lol I would definitely adopt another deaf dog... I'm trying to convince FI to let us adopt a deaf great dane when we get a bigger house. lol

I noticed there were more than a couple bees who have or have had deaf dogs (or were interested in owning a special needs dog). So I thought I'd make a thread where we can talk about them and show them off!! :)
I'll start, here's my boy: (although i've posted his face all over the place)
His name is Blue and he's an Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog (blue heeler) mix.
He was born deaf and is my baby. I've had him since he was about 3 or 4 months old and I adopted him from the shelter I was working at at the time. He is super mellow and relatively well behaved.
He knows at least 15 hand signals (most of which were ones he picked up on his own) and he is always stuck to me like glue.
When I met him he looked like this:
Tell me about your pups and share your pictures!!
