Hey Bees<3 I had my second hair trial yesterday and I must say, I really liked it!!!! The only thing was i had a huge knot in my hair from her making the poof (which was expected) and it took me 3 hrs to get the knot out after a shower. Anyway, I would love to know your thoughts. I just showed my mom pics and she didn't like it. I have already paid $75 twice now for two hair trials with two different people. I like it though. Thoughts?

P.S. Ask the stylist what method is best for getting the knots out.
Its very pretty, but if you have a promblem with the knots then I would just go buy a good detangler for when you get out of the shower
Looks nice, but wouldn't that be awful to have to be in the shower for three hours the night of your wedding? Or the next day?
I hate it when hairstylists knot my hair!! When it is long, they need to be extra aware. Looks nice though if you are willing to deal with that.
I think it looks really beautiful. I love Carrie Underwood's hair and I think the stylist did a great job with your inspiration. I recommend trying to detangle before taking a shower. Or at least getting some really great detangler and dousing the tangle in that before hitting the shower.
I love it, but I'm with the other posters on that giant knot - get that straightened out! I'd hate to be detangling for three hours on my wedding night :/
I think your hair looks great & I think you should go with this hairdresser even if your mom doesn't agree, its your day!
I think it looks really nice, and it is a style that works well for you. Your mom would probably like to see some softer curls around your face. That is the only thing that I can think of as to why she would say what she said to you.
I like the front a lot. I'm not excitred about the two circles formed in the back at the top. I would do somthing else with them, or curle them and them them down. I say keep the same hair dresser though.
Im not a fan of the back of the hair due to the circles....it reminds me of eyes.
I think it's pretty, however, I think it needs a tad bit more height. Maybe poof it up just a tad more up top! But it's very pretty!!!
Oh and PS - to deal with the knot. There is the purple bottle called a perfect 10. If you spritz it all over your hair it will get the tangles out way easier and won't screw up your hair!
Maybe you could hide the circles in the back with a pretty hair clip or comb?
I voted that its ok, but that is only because I am not crazy about the circles at the back, but I love the front!!! As for the knots in your hair try putting conditioner in your hair before you actially wash your hair, work it into your hair then brush it out. it should work and only take you about 5 minutes. I hope that this helps!
I think it's beautiful! I love the two curls right below the poof.
I think it looks beautiful, the only thing I can say is maybe ask her to leave a little more volume on the sides? I think the sides are just a tad too flat.
I like the 2 curls in the back. I think it was a cute way to hide the bobby pins.
I like this hairstyle a lot and it looks amazing on you. I almost can't imagine a more beautiful style, the back looks perfect, it frames your face beautifully and the curls are so 'clean' like you requested.
Honey, don't talk to me about knots, instead of getting busy right away on our wedding night DH and I were busy pulling out hundreds of bobby pins. It took about an hour the next morning to wash out and brush through all the knots from my updo. But it was for my wedding, so I guess it was worth it ;)
@moderndaisy: Haha. I had the same experience, but I didnt do it wet. My hair knots WAY worse when its wet.

As for the knot, this is what you do: In the shower, try and shampoo as well as you can, then condition as well as you can. The shampoo will break down the hairspray and other product and the conditioner will help to untangle the knots. Then repeat because you probably won't get everything out the first time. If you need to, leave the conditioner in whilst you slowly brush it all out.

Thanks ladies!! The knot was so bad when I took it out (from her making it poofy by brushing my hair towards the scalp to"give it volume"). As for the curls, doyou think it would look better if she did 3?

Such a bummer your mom doesn't like it.. I think it looks gorgeous! Very smooth and flowy with the right amount of volume.
