So I am a graphic designer and I have gone ROUNDS with what I want our invites to look like, espeically since I can design with any style… did I want it elegant or fun, or modern…. I tried to accomplish a blend.
I will be hand creating my invites, so they will be on thick cotton cardstock, and I will be getting a custom stamp made that I will “imprint” on each invite (the look and feel of it goes well with the stamping hence just all black)
thoughts? suggestions? I think its almost there

I like them a lot! You’re very talented!

@kguitarchic18: Beautiful! Some small changes:
• “Eighth” is misspelled.
• It is standard to include the year.
• “Oregon” should not be abbreviated.
• The zip code should be omitted.
I love that you’re going the stamping route! Aside from the amazing design, I think that’ll really set apart your invitations.

Thanks everyone! It is still a little rough hence the misspelling lol. Fiancé liked my original crest better so I need to make a few other tweaks but I think its almost there!

here was the original crest or the front of the invite, which the fiance likes better…. im torn….

The crest is really awesome. I’m torn about which I like best! I lean toward the one you first posted though.

I love the first crest! Makes it really like your family crest that you could use EVERYWHERE(placecards, thank yous, napkins, etc) in your wedding.
Have you thought about thickening the frame on the front page at all?

After comparing the two crests I actually like the first one’s simplicty and clean lines the best. I think your invitation looks awesome.

I prefer the first crest. Your invitations are really lovely.

I like the original crest, the one with the date in it. It’s a lot more simple.
