This one ring has been my favorite for a while, so it may be close to time to buy. My concerns are 1. will it look to big? It’s equivalent to a 2 ct diamond and I’ve only been able to try on 1.16 which looked way small for me (size 7 finger) and 2. is this a good price for the stone and setting? Or is it very over priced?
Also just your general opinions are welcome 🙂
The ring costs $689, these are the specs given by the seller:
14 karat white gold, 3.28 grams
6 (contact us if you require sizing)
38 total round diamonds
ETA: I can return it within 7 days if I don’t get it sized by them. I will need it sized up a half size, but I could order it as-is so I have a chance to see the gem quality in person, and then get it sized at a local jeweler.

I dont know about cost but that seems reasonable. It’s very pretty and it won’t look too big at all! It’s not like it’s a massive diamond and people will THINK THINGS!

I love it! I wouldn’t know if it’s overpriced though- sorry.

Hi, I voted as I thought the ring looked very nice for the price but to be honest I dont really know what prices are like in the USA. But if you love it, its the main thing, it is a beautiful ring.

I do not think it will look too big at all! I wear 2ct round equivalents on a size 5.25ish, and while I would not go bigger than that in a round as I just do not like the look on my hand you have more leeway with a larger finger. There are also many who ould happily go bigger though I will not. The halo also looks very dainty so as not to add too much diameter.
Price seems reasonable to me, but of course prices can be all over the place! If you love it, it is in your budget, and it checks out, it seems reasonable to me.

Who voted lame? That’s mean 🙁
I like it, it is a bit big for my taste (but then I think my 0.75 is too big!). I love the colour and the subtle setting and the view of the side, it almost looks like a flower!

I love aquamarines, so I’m a little biased, but I think it’s a really beautiful ring!

It’s not my taste, but if you like it, I think your idea of not getting it sized by them to check it out first is a good idea!

I think its super pretty!

I don’t think it looks too big – I have a size 7 finger and am getting a 1.5ct equivalent ring, but was torn between that and a 2ct (ended up deciding based on other factors, not size). It kinda depends on what you plan to put it through. Will you wear it every day? Will it be bashed/caught/dirtied at work/home? In other words, is the size practical for you?
If that’s not an issue I say go for it – it’s very pretty and different.

Beautiful ring… love the fact you chose such a pale colour for your center stone. Untraditional but still very bridal!

I think it’s gorgeous!!! Is it an etsy seller? And I totally don’t think a 2ct equivalent overpowers a size 7 finger 🙂

It’s pretty and definitely a great price! I think it’s a little big, but of course it depends on your finger size (I don’t know how big size 7 is, I’m a size 6 in Australian sizes and I have really tiny fingers, 0.6 carats was the perfect size for my finger) so I am guessing size 7 is big there, and so 2 carats is probably good for you 🙂 definitely a gorgeous ring!

2.4 ct is really big for a size 6… i’m a size 6 and i can’t imagine anything higher then a ct.

My engagement ring also features an aquamarine surrounded by diamonds and I love it. I think it’s easier to get away with a large ring when the center stone is not a diamond. I say go for it!
