We are actually having our friend marry us. But, we are having our ceremony and reception at All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne which I think technically is a Unitarian Church. But, they are more of a spiritual center than anything else (they have meditation classes, yoga classes, etc.). I know they have a pastor. You may want to contact them to find out more bout their pastor.

Where in Southern Vermont are you looking? If it's the Bennington area here is the link for the the justices that are allowed to do ceremonies http://www.bennington.com/town/jp.html I know of some people on that list and they are good people.

Update for the hive! We have booked Debra Grow, who is actually based out of New Hampshire, but does weddings in Vermont as well! I am super excited to work with her as she really collaborates with each couple to make a personalized ceremony. I will let you know how it goes!!

Hi Vermont brides (and grooms and bridesmaids)!! I am about to begin my search for an officiant for my wedding and I was wondering if anyone has worked with or knew of officiants that they have really liked, or not so much. We are looking for someone to do a spiritual, but not religious outdoor ceremony in Southern VT. It could be a justice of the peace or a minister as long as they are comfortable without the religious aspects. Any thoughts?
