My engagement ring is a cluster, and so my wedding band is going to be custom-made to fit around it. My current e-ring is actually a replica of my original one, and the company we went with have already made the cast to match the ring.
However, I’ve recently been wondering if I should go with a wider wedding band. I initially went for one the same thickness as the widest part of the shank on my e-ring, as I wanted symmetry; but now I’m wondering if my engagement ring will completely overshadow and hide the wedding band, and I’m not sure I want that.
We haven’t paid a deposit on the wedding band yet, so altering the design shouldn’t be an issue; they’ll probably just melt it down and remake it.
