i LOVE threading! I try to get it done every couple of weeks, but since I work from home and don't see people too often, I get lazy about it. It's definitely great and cheap!
I've done it before! In my opinion threading is better than waxing. I tweezed prior to getting threaded though so maybe my skin was used to one-by-one plucking? Waxing pulled off some of my skin and that hurt!!! Not to mention left little scabs that were way worse than stray hairs.
I LOVE threading and there is a place near me that does it for $7. I loooove it. I think the more often you go the less sensitive you get. I also know I push too hard on my eye when I'm holding the skin - so I always have to remind myself to lighten up! I didn't remember it being painful before I left for England but one of the first things I did when I got back was get threaded and it hurt more than I remembered! Though, that could just be the 6 month hiatus from threading, I'm not sure. :)
I'm another threading devotee! I don't go all that often though. it's a little pricey, so I just pluck on my own to keep the shape for as long as possible.
I would love to try it... but I have no tolerance for pain. So its a no go for me.
Yeah, I pay $6 at the place on my block!
I like it because it leaves my brow area less irritated and it's supposed to be better for your skin long-term. I think it hurts about the same as waxing, but it's just more spread out.
I get my upper lip threaded and have her pluck my eyebrows. Wonderful!
I love threading! My brows look so neat afterwards, and it's also $6-$7 around my neighborhood!
I'm a devotee of threading, my eyebrows are ridiculous and totally uneven and somehow threading makes them look decent. I go every two weeks and its about $6.
D'orsay please share this $7 place! In the DC/Baltimore area I hope.. :)
I pay $6 and LOVE IT. It doesn't feel as painful as waxing is for me. However, when my upperlip gets done...I want to scream the entire time.

I just had my eyebrows threaded for the first time this week! The woman did a really great job evening out my TOTALLY uneven eyebrows, and supposedly it lasts a little longer than waxing. So my question is, I was really surprised by how much it HURT. I am used to getting my eyebrows waxed, and that really doesn't bother me, but threading was in my opinion, much worse. I still think I'd do it again though. Any other threaders (threadees?) out there?
