I chose my date cause I imagined a beautiful and spring breeze location with falling cherry blossoms and velvety new grass. But now the forecast says it will be 8 hours of thunderstorms.
WE thought if it rained, we would have everyone hold umbrellas, but this is the FIRST time I EVER thought it may LIGHTNING… what do we do???
We are getting married at the jefferson memorial in DC 30 people but we aren’t allowed to put up a tent and if we move it, we don’t get the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL????

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that! But if it makes you feel any better weather.com says it’s only a 40% chance on the 9th. You may still get lucky! Also, are you allowed inside the memorial or only outside of it? I know that it’s not completely covered while inside but I’m sure the dome would take the brunt of the rain. The weather forecast is wrong allllllll the time, I bet it will have changed by next weekend.
