The whole story is just sad... but honestly, some guys have no business getting married.  And if you're a girl getting married to a young, super rich, super talented, famous athlete, you're kinda just asking for it (even if you're a hot ex-model)!

well in his defense (and that of other famous/rich ppl) they probably have to turn down daily the amount of people "regular" people have to turn down in a lifetime.  not that it's not disgusting for them to have affairs especially w/ pregnant wives...  but i mean, i think more people should actually think about what they would do their shoes...  it's not exactly a normal situation.  it's got to be a lot harder for famous people to stick to their morals.

then again, how could tiger go for something better lookin than his wife?!??  she's hot!  hehe.  i hope he gets his act together or i hope the rumors are false.  :/

@ simpleandchic - Hahaha! And I totally agree.

But I guess it takes two to tango. What about those homewrecking women who threw themselves at him? They have no shame!

His poor wife and children. That must be so embarrassing and heartbreaking for her. All of the other women are really slutty, attention whores. If they have any sort of decency why would deny the whole thing to the cameras and at least save face. Instead they are flaunting and selling tapes and voicemails. So scummy.

I, for one, am tired of hearing about it. I wish the media would leave it alone. I can't imagine my husband cheating on me and then having to relive it over and over because the whole country it talking about it. I feel so sorry for that poor woman.

I think its a whole publicity stint and his wife is going to have a book out next year. Mark my words. This all came out at this moment for a reason. I bet she knew long ago, and this is timing on the PR people's side of things.

    I'm in PR, I know.

I don't know that I could stay with him if everything, or even bits and pieces of what is being reported in the media is correct- whether it is the number of women or the changes in the pre-nup.

GaBGal you could be totally correct!

ashleyjane- i hope you know i wasnt saying its okay.  i just have heard some pretty harsh jokes said by some sleezy nasty radio DJs/tv personalities who would probably do the same thing.

he is a sad sack. even so, and not that i'm saying it's right, but i feel like the media builds people up only to tear them down. cheating is never ok, but i just hate when it's thrown all over the news. sigh.

we shouldn't be thinking things like "his wife is so hot what hope do i have" because i guarentee it has NOTHING to do with his wife, cheating is most always an issue dealing with yourself not your relationship.

Ya know, I was wondering what David Letterman thinks about this! LOL I don't watch his show, but I can only imagine this is the kind of thing that would usually be like "Score!" for him...all kinds of jokes out of it. But it's not like he can joke on somebody else now! Just a random thought I had yesterday, nothing more. Smile

and honestly i hate how its in the media the way it is because this is a personal matter and its not up to us as society to get in between what should be kept between tiger and his wife.

I'm totally with Snake on this one.

My marriage ended with my former H because he cheated.  And since then he's pulled a "Tiger" with his present wife and she's also leaving him.

It is a horrible thing to do and shows nothing but self-centeredness as the one inflicting that kind of damage on their family cares nothing about them imho, just themselves and their "in the moment" lifestyle.  Obviously he didn't think of the ramifications if it came out or how it would come back to haunt him (his endorsements) but above all how he'd forever crush his wife and how when the kids are older they'll find out how dad was to their mom and he'd never be a hero at home either.

Trust me..I know about these things.  I wish it on no one.  She seems like a lovely person, and the fact she was a nanny before she was with him tells me she must love kids.

I hurt for them and hope that she and the kids somehow make it through as best as possible.  As for him?  I cannot figure out how he could mend her heart.  I wish them the best though.

Oh and to add..the affair my ex had (there were 2 other women at the end) had NOTHING to do with them being more attractive.  Not at all.  Imho it was about him getting his ego stroked constantly (he was a ceo) and I had a small child at home and apparently he felt he didn't get enough attention..so it took several other women to do that for him.

Snake: I totally agree.  I get so tired of women saying things like 'if Halle Berry can be cheated on, I guess I will too'.  Men cheat for a lot of reasons, but rarely is it because they feel they can 'one up' their wife.

I feel awful for Tiger's family.  But I agree with some of the other posters....when you're married to a famous, rich person, it's more likely to happen.  That doesn't make it OK, but look how many celebs cheat with one two, ten people.  What I don't get is why they think they won't get caught!!

The only thing that made me even follow this story because famous people who cheat stories are SO tired is the fact that one of the girls who came out of the woodwork was one of the girlfriends of one of the douchbags on VH1's Tool Academy, which I find incredibly ironic. Yes, please, take your boyfriend on a show about how he doesn't treat you right in your relationship and then f**k a married man.

@hotchild - I know. I love Tool Academy. It is Jaimie from the first season - Loud Mouth Tool's GF. If I'm not mistaken, he is the guy who actually had another girlfriend who came on later in the show and then Jaimie left.

I heard from some unverified news source that the updated prenup prevents her from ever talking about her marriage to the public (hence, no book deal) and ups her gainings if she stayed with him longer (aka, no divorce in near future if she wants the extra dough).

I actually KNOW a girl who had an affair with Tiger about 4 years ago.  Normal girl who was a cocktail waitress at the time.  I think they only got together once, maybe twice but he called her several times after and left her voicemails (I guess he referred to himself as "Tigs".. blecccch!!!).  This guy has been at it a long time.  I feel so terrible for his wife, and for his kids.  The funny thing about those two women that have been implicated in this scandel both look similar to this girl that I know.  I guess Mr. Cheater Pants has a "type".

I do feel bad for her that he cheated, but when you marry someone as famous and rich as Tiger Woods, you give up your right to a private life. That's not how the world works - family is not off limits. I feel bad for the kids most of all because they didn't ask to be born to a famous dad.

I trust my FI with my whole heart, but would never in a million years hire a nanny who looked like that! I'd be shocked if she wasn't sleeping with him as part of her job.

I did feel horrible for his wife when I first heard about this, but if the whole reworking of the prenup is true I dont really feel so sorry for her anymore. If you husband cheats on with you with multiple I dont see how adding more money to the prenup makes it better. Its different if she decided to stay for the kids or because she loves him, thats her choice. Since when does getting more money make everything better. Its kind of like coby's wife and that huge ring she got after he cheated. If money keeps you around im sorry I no longer feel sorry for you. Im sure others may dissagree but its how i feel.

My DH said that it's good for Tiger definitely to rework the prenup 'cuz with the marriage still intact, his endorsement deals would still be safe. If he's divorced, his sponsors are less likely to want to continue sponsorship. So the advantage goes both ways.

I never said anything about feeling sorry for tiger woods and having to give her more money. Nor do I really care if its an advantage for both of them. What im saying is if your reason for staying in marriage is for money, endorsement deals, publicity, or anything else besides love or children, I dont feel sorry for her. If money makes it better for her, well then shes getting what she wants and so is he.

@ tessabella76 -- that was interesting! Puts it into perspective.  The prenup not only makes the marriage an emotional agreement (the vows) but a financial agreement!

Men do not cheat with woman they believe are "better" than their wives.  They generally cheat with women with low self esteem.  Only a woman with low self esteem will knowingly agree to have an affair with a married man and agree to be 2nd in line.  It has nothing to do with beauty.

I hate the media scrutiny of what should be a private matter, but I think the crux of the problem in this case is that Tiger had cultivated this squeeky clean image that has now been totally destroyed.

I can't feel bad for him because it's of his own design, but I can feel bad for his family, and for their sake I wish this wasn't all getting played out in public.
