Anyway, I am under a tight budget and I guess since I am west of Boston I am considered west but truly this wedding will be in Cenral MA, I went to Umass AMherst and that is truly west but thats another rant all together. Altough I do love and find it amusing that MA gets 3 sections here.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone else had a budget wedding in MA. Ours is 2K-4K. How much did you spend as a run down if you are comfortable discussing it. I have free venues, free chairs and tables, rings are paid for, my moms dress and will get a discounted cake more than likely. So those are not a factor for me. I am trying to make a budget for the remainder of the costs and what wondering what everyone else did. I will also more than likely have DIY projects especially for the STD and the Invites. Thanks for all the help. All you bees have been so great.

@Mrs Christopher: LOL I was wondering that too. No love for central MA. I guess all things west of Boston are “out west” on the Bee. 🙂
Sorry I can’t help with any budget issues. I’m getting married closer to Boston so my budget had to be larger. =P Awesome deals you got though!
ETA: I did use Vistaprint for my photo magnet Save-The-Date Cards. I bought a Groupon so they ended up not being too expensive. I found the invitation envelopes in the clearance section at Office Max. Don’t forget to calculate postage. It adds up quickly.

@MapleMoose: Thanks for the tip. I hadn’t thought of Office Max I had found a site that would sent me foiled lined ones for like 30 bucks (for 150), but I will look around there and local stores. I also thought of maybe doing regular envelops and lining them with foil but $30 didnt seem too bad to save myself the time lol. I have a large family so I have to send out invites to all (just so they feel included, and so theres no hey I didnt get one!) but most probably wont come. I had tried to figure out postage which is why I was thinking of doing postcard Save-The-Date Cards because the postage is cheaper after that we’ll bite the bullet on postage lol. But I didnt want to be out 100s of dollars before even putting a stamp on!
