So, here’s my “timeline”…
6:30- Ceremony (super- short)
7 pm- guests begin to be transported to the reception (same place, different area)
7:30- Dinner begins
8:30- Toast, Invite guests to dessert table?
8:45- Begin dancing (no special dances)
10:30- leave for the “afterparty”
We are taking most of the pictures beforehand. I’m scared that everything is gonna run behind and the dancing portion will end up being 30 mins.

That is definitely a really tight timeline, I would try and figure out how to cut something else short. But then again you maybe could see if you venue will elongate the reception??

You can always have the toast while everyone is still eating dinner to save a few more minutes. Since you don’t have any special dances or travel to worry about, then I’d say the only thing that could possibly set you back is dinner. Depending on how many people you have and what type of service (plated or buffet style), dinner could take anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. Don’t worry; I’m sure the day will go smoothly!
