Anyone down for a Wednesday or Thursday happy hour in SF in the next week or two? It's so fun to get to chat with local ladies going through the same wedding planning joys and struggles!
Me! Me! I just got back from my wedding, but went to a couple of bee happy hours in the last couple months and we had a blast...
I don't get off until 6 though...
I'm in. This week only Wednesday works for me. Hope we can get a group together and looking forward to hearing about your wedding mrs keho!
Yup, Only Wednesday works for me too - I'm heading out of town on Thursday. Wasn't Nexus saying the last time there is a place we pretty decent margaritas or something in Mission?
Yay, another one! I can make Wednesday this week or next week. The place I was thinking of is called Tres Agaves (130 Townsend St SF 94107) and it's in SOMA a few blocks from Montgomery BART.
If we go there we should probably make a reservation because they can get really busy. The margaritas and food are really good, though.
Ohhh, I LOVE the margs at Tres Agaves! I can do Wednesday or Thurs this week or next.
Fun! I'll be out of town Wednesday and Thursday this week, but I could do next week. I love the Tres Agaves margaritas, but it is a good 15+ minute walk from the closest Bart station, just in case that would be a problem for anyone. It is very close to the N and T light rail lines and a bunch of bus lines.
This sounds like a lot of fun. I could do this week or next, Wednesday or Thursday. I'm excited to meet all of you.
I think we should plan on next Wednesday, since tomorrow is coming up really quickly. Plus it's supposed to still be raining like hell and walking from BART would be a drag.

I'm open Wednesday or Thursday next week! And Tres Agaves is a block from my apartment, so I certainly wouldn't object :)
Next week is definitely better, I can do either day but my preference is Thursday. If we can get this nailed down in the next few days I'll call and make a reservation to make sure we have enough space.
I should be able to make it Thursday. How's the parking in that area? I will be starting a new job in Berkeley so I'll be coming by car instead of BART. I will have a better idea of what time I'll be out of work next week but 6-630 should be doable.
Ooh, can I join in too? I'm new to the Bay Area, so I'd love to meet some other brides out here (or just some new people who aren't the ones who I work with). I'd be coming from Sunnyvale, so does anyone know what the parking situation is around the bar?
Next Thursday at 6:30 is good for me. I just called to ask about their parking, and they have street parking in front, and valet. I imagine you should be able to find a space since that area is sort of quiet after work, plus the Giants season is over, so no more big crowds!
According to Google Maps, there's a parking garage about a half a block away, Sky Parking at 136 Townsend Street. Also, I've always found free street parking when I've been to happy hour at nearby 21st Amendment, just try the smaller side streets!
There has been a ton of street parking available in the evenings around Tres Agaves lately now that Giants season is over - just be sure to bring quarters just in case since a lot of the street parking is metered (I don't remember exactly what time the metering ends...). There are also several parking garages in the area, though some of them seem to be open mainly for Giants season.
I will def. be there next Thursday at 6:30! :) Sooooo excited--to see my bee friends, and meet new bees!!!!!!!!!
So are we set for this Thursday at 6:30? Can we get a head count, I'd like to make a reservation :)
I'm a "maybe" depending on a work deadline. I know, not helpful, but I'm really going to try and make it!
Ok, so including me, we're at 7 people. (I included the "maybes" just in case.) I'll give it until tonight, and then I'll call and make a reservation.
Ok, we are all set for Tres Agaves at 6:30 this Thursday! I told them that we tentatively have 7 people, and they said changing the group number day of wouldn't be a problem.
I made the reservation under my name, Kristen, so anybody I haven't met will be able to give them my name and find the group :)

We were talking about a HH 2 Fridays from now (Nov.6) at Horatius (Kansas & 17th)--they have a $15 or $20 "Friday Flights" special with wine and apps from 6-8pm... Super cute spot... :)

aww man! I def. can't do Nov. 6, we have a huge fundraiser event for work (wine tasting and auction if anyone is interested)
