It took about a month, from the moment I handed over my specific design to the point that my stone was reset and on my finger.

It depends.  We’ve been working on mine since October.  I don’t want to make a mistake, so I work on it, then let it sit for a few months.  Time brings clarity, and the ring we’re designing is not a compilation of standard / mass produced settings with a tweak here or there.  When it’s truly right, I’ll know.

Mine took three months but we did look for and import the stone (through our jeweller) ourselves and apparently that takes awhile.

Well worth it though!

msformaldehyde:  FI said mine was about 6 weeks too I think, but he had some changes made from when it was first complete. I think 6 weeks is a pretty accurate/reasonable timeline 🙂

msformaldehyde:  Mine took 8 weeks. It would have been shorter but I made modifications to the initial renderings and two sets of the cads they sent me.

msformaldehyde:  my ring is a custom made replica of my original. Start to finish, Inc going in to see the cast, it took about 4 weeks. Could have been done quicker but there was no rush.

FI’s band took 2 weeks after the stones arrived. The longest time is definitely going to be waiting for stones.

Mine has been a work in progress for about 2 months now and I haven’t even heard if my sapphires have arrived. Once my sapphires come in from Israel, then it should be about 2 weeks after that!

3 weeks for me, and they could have made it within 2 weeks for an extra fee. They were great and I was totally happy with my ring! It was quick because they are not a retail store. It’s also a halo, so a little bit more complicated to make compared to a solitaire I think.

My FIs wedding band is custom from an etsy seller and is taking about 10 weeks right now.
