40 days doesn't bother me but I have a feeling I may freak out a little tomorrow when my countdown reads "39 days"!!! It's hard because it all goes by so quickly so I'm just trying to enjoy (and document) absolutely everything!
Oh god. If you're at 40, then I'm at 47, which is less than 50. Sh**. That's okay, it's all going to come together. Frankly, I'm more worried about the countdown to when my many family members arrive in town, because that's when the craziness will begin. Don't worry, Liz, it's all going to be great, and your wedding will be beautiful!
I am at 33 days and I am freaking out! Found out yesterday that the forms FI was supposed to have submitted to our venue for use of candles have not yet been submitted! So there might be a major redesign of our ceremony and reception decor in the near future to eliminate candles. :(

Its so bizzare to think I'll have a husband next month! We still need to send out the official invites (we did facebook ones), but other than that, everything should be good :). Yay 40 days!!
40 days... wow. We have been engaged since September 2008, so I can't believe the wedding is only 40 days away!
I have a walk through with my venue & caterer tomorrow to make sure everything is set, and the rest of my weekends between now and May 22 are full of DIY projects and other craziness.
I still have to create a seating chart, figure out what I'm doing for favors, DIY ceremony programs, table numbers, place cards and some of the guest table decor. Ugh.. I could keep going but it's stressing me out :) LOL
We are 26 days away! I am starting to freak out, and get butterflies when I even think about how close the wedding is. Time is flying by I feel like I am going to wake up and the wedding day will be here! I am just trying to enjoy every moment and keep on top of everything.
I know what you mean...our engagement is only 5 months long and then it seemed like such a long time to go. Now I'm like, 38 days - OMG, I'm going to be MARRIED in 38 days! Then I cry (I'm SUPER emotional these days), laugh and move on to the next project! haha
@colomtnbride hahaha well put! I'm with you on the emotions! I hope I don't fall apart during the ceremony ;)

I logged into Facebook this morning and my handy dandy Wedding Book app reminded me that I am getting married in just 40 days! Whoa. That is really just right around the corner!
On April 1st I was thrilled to finally be able to say, "I'm getting married next month" but today's reminder was, for some reason, a little jarring. I couldn't be more excited, but I feel like the time is slipping away too quickly. Before I know it I'll be married, the day will be over and the chapter will close on the last year of my life, of which I've spent the majority of my time wedding planning and loving every second of it. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to be married (that is, after-all, the point of all this) but I've loved this engagement chapter in my life and I will be a little sad to see it end.
How are the rest of you May brides holding up as the countdown draws nearer to an end?
