I think the standard is 6 months. I ordered mine at the end of June for our early December wedding (5 1/2 months) and because there were problems getting the dress in, we cut it close with the alterations - only about a week to spare. So maybe order in April for your wedding?

How much time should I allow? Wedding is end of October, I know exactly what I want, but I prefer to spend the money I have saved on other things right now and wait to order the dress in a few months.
I'm new to this dress ordering this...how long will I need comfortably????
