So, i was digging through my jewelry box this morning and found a 3-stone amethyst ring. I never wear it because it doesn’t fit. It’s yellow gold, too. But, amethysts are my birthstone and I figure I have the ring, I may as well do something with it.
Any ideas? I thought of doing 3 halos or something around the stones….but maybe you guys have a better idea =]
Here are the two pictures I was kinda thinking of. They’re not quite the right shape, though. Also, I’m toying with the idea of moissanite or something inexpensive, unless I come across something DH’s BIL can order for me although, since they’re oval, not round, it could be more complicated.

Does it have to be a ring? I’d probably make it into a pair of dangly earrings with a amethyst halo pendant necklace.

I’m with Corgi – it would be cool to separate the gems. You could also do a pair of earrings and then a halo ring with the center stone. That would be awesome!

I thought about that but I’m not sure I’d wear the earrings and a necklace as often =

This one’s really freakin’ nice, haha.

What if you make it into a drop necklace? I don’t know if that’s the right word for it.

think that this is a lovely idea, i like the first link you posted, looks like the stones would fit into that setting well!

I love the third ring with the baguettes. I think that would be stunning with some colored stones.

I vote for single halo ring and either earrings or a drop pendant 🙂
