Down 30!!! I would love a halter with an organza overlay. I'm trying to warm up to a strapless but have always been self conscious of my flabby under arms and broad shoulders. Hopefully in 48 hours I will be posting pics on the what dress did you say yes to board :)
@JSaltz82: I'll be honest, I hate my arms feeling "flabby" too but at the same time, a strapless actually made my shoulders look SMALLER! I fell in love with a strapless gown in spite of my arm insecurities. Also? I'm wearing an elbow-length veil to sort of disguise my insecurity. Sure it's not going to hide everything, but I feel like it makes it less "out there." Good luck!!
@AmeliaBedelia: I never would have considered that a strapless could actually help the illusion of being smaller than I am - thanks! I've got a bridal salon appointment on Saturday, and maybe I won't shoo away the strapless ones afterall..
Well it was a stressful day of dress shopping. Nothing that I gasped when I put it on and said yes this is one. Don't get me wrong, I found a beautiful unique and fun dress with a lot of personality but I kept hoping for the music to come to my ears and scream this is the dress. I went back and forth between an organza strapless with lace all over the top, very romantic and an a line full of flowers all over the skirt couture and playful. After several times in the dress out of the dress etc I went with the second one...$500 over budget and I need to find a bling belt but it's a great and unique dress. I'll post it on the board of full figured dress pictures :)

I was crushed a few months ago when I was told I couldn't get THE dress I wanted. Now we are less than 50 days from the wedding, appointments are scheduled for 2 dress shops 3 hours from me and I WILL find THE dress this Saturday! Wish me luck :) I have lost 28 pounds and hoping it makes a HUGE difference dress shopping :)
