I am having an enchanted forest themed wedding and plan on having some small details with butterflies and birds. I would also like to add fairies to a few things. However I am having a hard time finding such fairies or thinking of a way to make them. I would like them to be fairly small, just a tiny piece of detail. Any suggestions or ideas? Please!

Here’s one I found on a quick google search….
If your doing an “enchanted forest” theme, I assume your having lots of flowers? You could hide a bunch of the tiny fairies throughout the decor and in the floral arrangements and such? Maybe tuck a few here and there so that people can kind of find them??

What would you like the fairies to look like? How big would you like them?
I think you can find some on Etsy, look in the “dolls and miniatures” section. Same on ebay – check out “OOAK” listings. There is also a great miniatures website: CDHM – I know there are several artists there who make little fairies.
Hope this helps 🙂

Could you do something like these paper butterflies on edge of your drinking glasses, but use a fairy instead?
Maybe this shape?

How about purchasing a washing pin painting it with (skin color paint from walmart or local crafts store) hot gluing on some butterfly wings (ebay)

I was going to suggest Christmas ornaments, since they’re small. 🙂
