So I was just looking through my wedding photos again, and I love them so much!! They bring back such awesome memories of our day. However, there’s one thing I wish I had done that would have made me even happier with our pictures. I wish I had tried to stand up straight, keep my shoulders back, and have better posture! I think it would have showed off my dress more and made me look a little thinner. I tend to slouch a little in general, but never thought about how it would look in the pictures. No big deal, I’m definitely not losing sleep over it, but it would have been so easy to do that if I would have thought of it. Hopefully sharing this can help someone else!
Anyone else want to share tips for good photos?

That’s a good tip! I always stand like I’ve swallowed a broom stick though – all those ballet lessons were good for something! haha
My tip would be keep your upper arms away from your body! My coworker once took a sideways picture of me sitting at my desk in short sleeves with my arms at my sides and I HATE my arms in that pic, they look so fat – and my arms weren’t fat at all then (I was about size 2/4 when that pic was taken).

I only have some non-pro pics and my zap shots but I can clearly see a difference when I held my head up vs. some stupid posed shot. I have a double chin in so many of the zap shots because they said “turn your head this way..” The ones where Im conscious of keeping my chin up look so much better!!
