Weddingbee boards

Okay... so most people who know me, know that I'm not religious- at all.  I believe that everything happens for a reason and that there is a divine reason we are all here, I just don't believe that we are all puppets-on-strings for The Man Upstairs to play with.  (Please don't take offense, I am not trying to be rude).

That being said, I do believe in Karma.  Specifically, tip karma.  After working as a waitress for around 6 years (through college and after), this whole tip karma thing really started to resonate with me.  Don't know what it is?  Well!  Tip karma is the good karma you get from leaving a deserving waitress/nail tech/hairdresser/barista/etc a good tip.  Now, even though I don't waitress anymore, I am still a strong believer in tip karma. 

FI and I are strapped, ladies.  COMPLETELY, UTTERLY, STRAPPED.  As in, I-don't-know-how-we're-gonna-pull-this-off-in-22 days, strapped.  I can't ask my folks for more money because I feel terrible about it and they quite honestly have helped enough, and his folks don't have the money to lend.  I got a phone call last night from my grandmother.  She asked if I needed help with any of the wedding plans.  If I needed money.  After some gentle prodding on her part, I told her about what was going on.  I felt HORRIBLE about it and she made me feel better.  She offered to lend us some money to help us finish up the wedding plans so we can make some of our final payments.  I cried. 

Guardian Angel?  or Tip Karma?  I don't know, but that woman is my damn hero.

Aww that is so sweet of her, guardian angel or tip karma or any karma thats really nice! I always tip well because while i may not have ever waitressed (i don't have to cordination!) i did work in commission sales and the way some people treat you when you are helping them is just out of this world that just because i'm working here and helping you doesn't mean you can be out right rude to me!
