I would say 15% because that’s how much I usually tip (in general).

However, I think it depends on how you’re paying too.  If your trial is included with the day-of services (I’m paying a lump sum), it might make sense to just include a tip at the end.

Ummm I hope I’m not the only one that didn’t tip on the trial!  I just figured that I was having a test-run done to see if I even liked how they did my hair and makeup…not to go somewhere fancy or anything…so I didn’t tip.  But I certainly plan on doing so on the big day!  Yikes I hope that is not the wrong answer, haha

Oh, plus, the hair trial wasn’t done as tight as she said she’d do it on the day of…it was more like a quick preview (still good just not as tight).

I tipped $10 each, but I usually tip more than necessary. Not to mention, I was definitely using those two people for my actual wedding day, so I wanted to make sure I gave a generous enough tip to encourage them to go above and beyond the day of 🙂  Couldn’t hurt, right?

None of the above. Tip a percentage of the total cost, whatever you usually tip your hairstylist. 10-20% is standard.

I tipped 10 for $40 trial run, some people told me not to tip but I felt like if I did she would make me look as beautiful on the big day!

I would tip 15-20% of the cost for each (treat it like a normal salon service).
