Hi
We were given "guidelines" for the reception tips:
$3-$5: for the maitre'd who would pass it out to the staff
$75: for Bridal attendant
DJ- $100 for MC, $50 for DJ and assistant
Photograhy: $100 for main photog, $75 for second photog
Videography: $100
I just gave a few extra bucks for hair and makeup because it's their own business and they get all profits anyways.
Related question: if tips aren't included in my catering costs, do I tip 20% of the total catering bill, or 20% of the cost of hiring the service staff, or....?

Hey gang,
I'm curious for those who've been wed and for those about to be, how much are you tipping the usual suspects (Caterers, DJ, Officiant, Stylists, Musicians, anyone else you feel did a fantastic job etc...)
I know it will vary by region, but I'm trying to get a feel for what's the norm and then I'll go from there.
Thanks!
