Well, it looks like it is going to be a RAINY Sunday here in MA (though I am staying positive and thinking that hopefully the sun will be out when we need it) 🙂 So, I am wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for ways to make what looks like will be rainy engagement pictures fun/still pretty. I have seen some great ones, I am just bummed since it means that one of our outfits will pretty much be out and we were hoping to get pics around Fenway, which means definitely needing umbrellas. Also, to any other Boston brides – any suggestions for good inside places in case it is really downpouring?? THanks for all your help!

It would be sooo cute if you guys got one of those big clear umbrellas and you wore some super cute galoshes. They should have both at Target. Or a bright red umbrella.
Sexy drenched in rain pics for the last couple photos, anyone?

Thanks all! You have definitely made me feel better about the rainy forecast! Some of these pictures are fabulous. I am definitely going to head out to pick up a cute umbrella tonight – and perhaps use this as an excuse to get another pair of cute galoshes – yay! 🙂

I would reschedule. You may get a decent picture or a few, but you will be more limited over if it wasn’t raining. If it’s raining hard, your photographer may cancel too. Our gear is weather sealed, but we still don’t like getting it wet!

It was POURING the day of my friend’s wedding day and she was hell bent on getting a few pics outside since the grounds were so beautiful. We thought she was nuts on the day but the black and white pics of her and her husband with big black umbrellas is just striking! I also agree with the PP – the photog may not want to shoot in the rain so hopefully he/she has some indoor locations to back up.
Just make sure your makeup doesn’t get wet and bring it along in case you have to do touch ups.
