yep, definitely lace it all and then tighten. It also helps if you put your hands on your waist and push the dress in/suck in while they lace it, then it hold you in real nice and tight:) You really can't go too wrong, just don't pull too hard or at a bad angle- pull out to tighten, rather than down, and just take the time to make sure the lacing is laying flat and not twisted. Don't worry too much, it's pretty intuitive!

I am already having fears that my mom or FMIL are not going to know how to lace up my corset dress. Any tips, do you lace the whole back of the corset and then start tightening from the top all the way down the bottom?
