Hey all, I just got a phone call from the same company asking me to come in Wednesday morning at 11:00!!
I think it’s for a second interview though she didn’t really say exactly. But I’m guessing that’s what it is because she mentioned on the phone that there are other people that she’s having to call.
But I am happy. I’m still in the running! 😀
Now how do I prepare for this second interview? In my first interview, I already demonstrated knowledge of the company, went over my resume, skills and experience and also met nearly everyone in the office. Except the president/publisher of the company, he is the only person I didn’t meet. So I’m assuming on Wednesday that I’ll be meeting him.
So ladies, how would you prepare for this second interview? I’m so nervous that my hands are shaking right now! Haha! All tips and advice are appreciated!

I think during the 2nd round it’s really important to get specific about how you can contribute to the company and make an impact. Obviously your resume and the fact that you were brought in again shows that are qualified for the position. What do you bring to the table that makes you the best candidate/how do you stand out from the other applicants? How will you help the company succeed? What would you try to accomplish in your first year? I think showing that you can fit in with the company culture is important, too. Be personable, show your enthusiasm and you’ll do great!

Make sure not to hide your personality!
Also, when they ask if you have any questions ALWAYS have some ready to go. I always ask the same question at the end: “Is there anything you’ve seen or heard that would make you think that I’m NOT the right person for the job?”
This gives you the opportunity to address any hesitations they might have right up front so you can fill in all the holes for them. Good luck!
