katy.pitre.5:  well it isnt too early to start having symtoms like that… I started racehorse peeing (my first clue) at only 4DPO, it was like WHAT IS GOING ON?….and by 6DPO I was sooooo freakin exhausted I actually skipped a day of work! The exhaustion started a few days earlier but it was the weekend so I rested up…sunday night/monday morning I was like NOPE cant do it lol.

katy.pitre.5:  yup lol. I didnt think anything of the tiredness I thought NO WAY not already, maybe Im coming down with something… but the peeing thing got me…. its was like I DONT know where this is coming from? SO frequent and so much. A lot of other stuff like being tired and feeling “nauseated” can sometimes be easily explined as in your head, but peeing? thats hard to explain especially if your intake hasnt changed. I O’d on like a monday and by friday it was “on like donkey kong”!

I thought hmmm…. wait until the next weekend to test but I ended up testing on the wednesday (only 9DPO) I dunno I just …felt it? and I got 2 faint positives…. kinda squinters. Tested the next day and got real lines and a yes on a digital haha….so ya never know!!

If you’re already feeling symptoms i would test now! But I don’t get too discouraged by negatives so that’s me. But a lot of people get a positive on day 10 or 11 with a first response early result test So it’s totally possible to detect it now.

I absolutely knew in my head I was pregnant. I could tell when implantation happened from weird cramping, and I was peeing on sticks to check for 3 days before I got a faint positive. When is your period due? If the cramps you felt yesterday were implantation cramps, it would take another few days before the hormone levels get high enough to get a positive test.

katy.pitre.5:  well dont be discouraged yet… do you know when you O’d? How many DPO you are. I know you noted the BD days… but if you didnt O until after the most recent sex then you may not test positive yet! I was temping/charting so I knew when I O’d.

Some people take longer to test positive because everyone is diff in their hormone levels! Some people on here have got BFN until after AF hasnt shown. I mean got get the hopes up extremely high, but yes you do still have a chance.

I WILL say do NOT test with digital before AF is missed because they are not as sensitive in giving you a positive reading… You basically have to have a certain level in order for it to register as it doesnt have a way to give you a “faint line” its a yes or a no….so it needs to be SURE. (I say this because you said you got a “not pregnant”) Only do the pink lined tests and at least you’ll get a little something if your hormones start to rise.

If you had sex on a certain day that doesnt mean you got pg that day….I lets say you are pg… you may not have O’d until 1, or 2, or 3 days later. On top of that you have the time it takes for the fertilized egg to make its way down…. so technically it can take a few more days after sex to actually be pg (per say) and the hormones to start generating…..so it might be a little more time before you get a positive 😉

now… in just reading your latest post about the BC thing….I realize you dont know when you O’d or even if you did yet. It could be symptoms of those hormones in your system as well?? There could be a chance you havent yet…but if your still feeling symptoms I’d say get some cheapie tests and do every few days if you  like?

if you JUST came off BC you may need to wait until you get your first AF to figure out what your cycle is. (unless your already pg of course lol). Basically unless your temping/charting or using an ovulation predictor kit it will be hard to know when your fertile window is. I mean the “average” is CD14 in which the first day of your full period is day 1. But me for example I O between CD19 and 21…. everyone is different and its not always exactly the same day every month!

When you temp…. its easy to see because the day after you O your temperature spikes and stays up until its time for AF to show again…. so you get a good view of when you O….and if you’ve been BD’ing up until then you have a great chance….and seeing your temp stay up is a good sign your pg etc etc…. Its a great way to keep track if your TTC. If your not pg yet I definatly suggest giving it a try. Theres really helpful apps like fertility friend. I didnt use all the fancy stuff on it (kind of intimidating) all I did was take my temp with the proper thermometer…plug it in along with times DH and I BD…and it automatically made a chart I could follow…super easy.
