This was one of my favorite parts. I absolutely loved my dress and was so excited to be able to put it on every time.

@bellagio:I feel you on the general distaste when it comes to pickups. My dress has them too, and it’s sometimes frustrating when people talk about not liking any dress with pickups. πŸ˜›

I still think they’re really pretty, though! I bet once you get it on again you’ll feel better about the whole ezperience.

Don’t worry about your pick ups ladies.  You love em thats all that matters. Plus, no matter what there will always be someone who will have a problem with your dress.

I’m getting sick and tired of the “I hate lace it looks like a doily” and “Mermaid dresses only look good on skinny people” (I’m a curvy 8-10) and the “Wedding dresses should all have corset backs” (Yes they are nice, but mine doesn’t have one)…comments.

I am with you on the being sick of fittings…only because I keep worrying about the salon ripping me off and the whole putting undergarments on, getting in and out of the dress, having people sitick pins in me. Plus, the one seamstress keeps making comments about my bust as though I purposefully have big boobs to make her life difficult.

@kermie: You would think seamstresses would be used to dealing with feminine assets πŸ™‚

EDIT: By the way, when I was having the “this is the dress” moment, one of the sales managers said, “Oh and don’t worry, we can add cups in to fill out the top some more”….ok thanks, because I was really worried about that lol and I’m not exactly flat chested! haha oh well…
