We're doing tissue paper flowers for our post-rehearsal party. I'm making paper ones for the reception.
i did one yesterday because i love the look of the pomander made with tissue flowers... it was really quick and easy...
Oh wow that is great! I went to Hobby Lobby and got some supplies...I am going to make some center pieces for the reception! I will post pictures on my progress!!!! This should be interesting!
Ladies...here is what i came up with! This is going to be part of my centerpiece. This vase will go on a mirror, i am thinking may be some small candles around and maybe some rose petals or little chrystal dimonds.
Thoughts?

i made a ton of tissue and crepe flowers for my wedding. all 6 of the bouquets and the flower girl ball were made of them. they turned out amazing. i have tons of photos from the wedding as well as tutorials and stuff on my blog at averychocolatewedding.blogspot.com. they take a couple of practice flowers to get the hang of each kind but it looks great in the end and they last. i really enjoy seeing my bouquet every day in my house. i also have my take on some of the marhta stewart tutorials and which ones took longer and which were easy or hard and ssues i had in the process. enjoy and i hope the tutorials help!
I making bouquets from fabric (satin & tulle) and using tissue paper flowers as color accents on our manzanita branch centerpieces. If I have time, I MIGHT try to make enough to have one at each place setting or attached to each escort card.

Has anyone considered making their own flowers for decorations from tissue paper?
