i tried to make one but when i was in the 20th flower i gave up and went to the dollars store and bought red carnations and the pomander came out perfect. making the flowers wasnt easy for me. but i know some bees are good doing it.
I have seen a few threads about this...sorry I have no advice. I do like Magenta's though...maybe you should try that. Good luck!!
I like magentas as well!
We did make tissue pomanders for my bridal shower and we felt the same way - what did we get ourselves into?? It took a really long time to make them, so don't feel bad about how long it is taking you. In the end we stuck it out and it turned out great. Here is a picture... I think really the only thing you can possibly do to speed up the process is enlist the help of a few other people. It went much quicker when there was like three of us. Towards the end we were pumping those pomanders out fast!

Thank you so much magenta! I love your pomander :)
Bloodgo: I can see that you have four, there's probably more than that in reality :) I can't even imagine doing another one right now. I am dying!
In the end we ended up having about 15! Three nights of hard work, but we did it :)
my fiance and i have been working on just folding flowers whenever we hang out together and are doing nothing or watching tv... we start folding! it does take a while but they look so pretty!
I'm planning to make twenty of them... ughhh... Maybe I'll make two a day and I should be done before my shower LOL!

I decided that I was gonna decorate my aisles with tissue paper pomanders. I took me almost two hours to make one (plus, the fear of getting carpal tunnel syndrome). It's really cheap but I am now second guessing myself if I should go ahead with it. I am getting married in 3 weeks and I don't really know if I have the time to DIY them.
How long did it take you to make them? Any tips to make my life a little bit easier? :)
Thanks
