@anon656987:  the bleeding could be implantation bleeding and your symptoms sound promising. FX!

@anon656987:  I’m going to put this bluntly because I was there last month, I had every symptom except sore boobs… And let me say, that BFN was really disappointing, so I’m saying this to help, not be a jerk.  Mostly likely the symptoms are in your head, the mind can play some crazy games on you, especially the first few months of TTC.  that said, the spotting could be a really good sign. I think the earliest day to test would be 10dpo (though the odds of getting a positive that early is pretty slim).

The strongest symptom I would look for (and this is just going by my own experience) is sore boobs. Mine started to hurt 4DPO, instead of the night before AF was due.

FX!

Since you have a 26 day cycle I would say this definitely could be implantation bleeding! Buy some cheapie HPT’s so you can start testing soon!

I definetly had implantation bleeding, and it started on 9dpo.  When the brown spotting started I swore I was going to start AF early, but when it just stopped and no AF came by the next day, I knew something was up and took a test

Ahhhh, good luck!!  Test with a FRER 10 DP0.  The spotting sounds really good!

@wandering_gypsy:  Stepping in to be the realist about sore boobs. It can be a symptom of the increased progesterone in your body after O and doesn’t necessarily mean KU (althought I hope it does for you). I get sore boobs after O for like 14 days and we were preventing for the past two months.

@anon656987: It *could* be implantation bleeding but you never know. I’ve seen a lot of symptom spotting around here and it doesn’t always indicate that you are KU (although I hope you are!).

And sorry, but sore boobs are also a PMS symptom. I get them all the time since going off BC, never had it before. Have them right now and also just started brown spotting at 7 DPO – but for me, that’s the new normal after BC. As much as I wish these were PG symptoms, I expect AF to rear her ugly head by the end of the week.

BUT you never know, good luck!!

@anon656987:  I had implantation bleeding. I had minimal brown spotting on my underwear on a Wednesday night (I don’t know how many DPO because I wasn’t sure about my O date). Then when I wiped, there was a streak of bright pink, almost red blood. I was positive AF was going to show full force in the morning, but she didn’t. All day Thursday I had a little bit more brown spotting but it was getting lighter, not heavier. Friday, nothing. Saturday, I was peeing CONSTANTLY. I’m talking every hour even though I wasn’t drinking that much fluid. Sunday morning I tested with FMU and got a faint, but distinct BFP.

@Lyndzo: I actually didn’t get sore boobs until way into my 7th or 8th week. I remember initially only my left boob felt ever so slightly sore but only when I actually poked it (or was it sore from the poking?!?! Tongue Out). Even now, at 14 weeks, they are just a dull ache, and mostly only when pressure is applied to them (I cross my arms or I have to hold something up to my chest).

Either way, OP, fingers crossed for you!
