This may be an incredible amount of TMI, but here goes…
I’m not on birth control (we typically use condoms) and we’re not TTC. In fact, we plan to start the adoption process next summer (for personal reasons). Anyway, DH and I were having sex last night (without a condom, for some reason) and when he finished, he pulled out, but, before he did, I swear I felt some get inside of me. I could be going nuts and it could have been nothing, but he pulled out and said ‘nothing got inside you,’ which I thought was super odd to say. I mean, he’s never said that before… never had to. I’m wondering if he felt it, too, but was just trying to kinda cover up the fact that it happened? (Does that make sense?) I could be paranoid, but the first thought I had was ‘we have a townhouse, no savings, and we’re starting two businesses (one physical, one online) right now – I can’t get pregnant.’ I guess I just need some reassurance that I’m crazy, haha. (And that you can’t actually feel it get inside or whatever). If not, I may be joining you on the Pregnancy and Baby boards in a couple of months. /:

it has to be at the right time for you to get pregnant anyways. dont waste time being paranoid… dont worry about it unless your period comes late. stress can make pregnancy symptoms and cause for a late period. so just sit back and relax.
Also, i cant say i ever FEEL it while its actually, uhm, coming out of him. Can I tell that everything is more wet down there.. uh yeah. but some of that is your stuff too. and sex is VERY different without a condom and with a condom.

@futuremrsndl: Go get plan B if you don’t want to be pregnant. My ex did that one time to me and then by the time the window to getting plan B had passed he let me know that he wasn’t actually sure if he made it out in time or not. Luckily I did not end up pregnant, but I was pretty furious.
And honestly, don’t reassure yourself by saying it has to be the right time and there’s only a 20% chance even if I was fertile. If you don’t know if you’re fertile right now or not, get plan B. I got pregnant on one shot!

sadly I forgot about Plan B… I would recommend that also… but i still don’t find reason in worrying until your due for your period. but thats my personality to not stress about something I cant really control (other then taking plan b).

This is pretty much why Plan B was invented. The sooner you take it, the better chance that it is effective!

gpsp2B: My period is due in the next week or two (it sort of varies), but I usually get it around the 4th. You’re right that I shouldn’t stress, though.

well it sounds like generally speaking if you get it aorund the 4th, and have a regular cycle from being on birth control then you are probably out of the fertile window.. probably. but i do recommend plan B like the others have suggested. so sad i forgot about that! but i just dont like to worry about things after they’re out of my control… so for me id take the plan b and then just let it be until period time!

@futuremrsndl: Go take Plan B if it’s that big of a deal.

I don’t see how you can feel a little bit of it, but fair enough if you felt “something”…and unless he’s in the habit of lying to you I wouldn’t worry but I agree with the others, for your own piece of mind just take plan B.
