I wouldnt worry about what the nurses say. When you have your hair trial the stylist can show you styles to cover it. You have a couple months for it to fill in a bit also.

I have not but my mother has had quite a few of them. I believe that over her lifetime she has has maybe 5 removed? all of them were about dime sized, so smaller than yours, but you would never know by looking at her. She was just happy to have the pain relief!

I am sure you will be fine and just take some extra time to style your hair until your hair grows back 🙂

Something like highlights shouldn’t touch your scalp and could help with the roots issue? Talk to your stylist early on this one To make a plan I would say.

that’s a huge bummer. I’m sure your hairdresser will help you with a good style for your wedding that covers it up. if you go for an updo, they use so much hairspray that your hair won’t move a bit. at least you should be healed up enough to be able to dye your hair by the wedding, right?  also, a little hair will be grown in, just enough so that if the area does show, there will be enough hair there to mask it. it’s not like you’ll have a totally bald spot on your wedding day.

as for your dye job: get yourself some cute scarves and hats! I’ve been absolutely in love with this look. it’ll hide your roots and is super easy:
